Terms & Conditions.

Welcome to Hoth Kitchens, where we help you create the heart of your home with care, expertise, and attention to detail. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully, as they outline our mutual commitments and ensure a smooth and transparent process.

1 General

1.1 Quotations & Pricing Our quotations remain valid for 30 days from the issue date. Prices may be subject to adjustments if supplier costs change before your deposit is paid. Prices includes VAT, which is applied at the current rate and shown separately.

1.2 Product Specifications Images and showroom displays are for illustrative purposes only; variations in materials and finishes may occur. We take great care in our kitchen plans, but it is your responsibility to check all details before placing an order.

1.3 Changes & Cancellations If you need to amend your order after placing a deposit, we will do our best to accommodate changes, but this may result in additional charges. Cancellations after an order is confirmed may incur a fee reflecting costs already incurred.

1.4 Force Majeure If circumstances beyond our control (e.g. supplier delays, extreme weather, strikes) affect delivery or installation, we will inform you as soon as possible and work with you to find a solution. We will not be liable for any consequential losses as a result.

1.5 Planning Permissions & Regulations You are responsible for obtaining any required planning permissions or approvals before installation begins.

2 Payment Terms

2.1 Deposit & Payments Payment terms will be not less than 33% non-refundable deposit of the total kitchen cost, payable on acceptance of the quotation for both Supply only or Supply and Fit.

Payments are structured as follows:

  • Deposit: At point of sale.

  • Survey Payment: Due on completion of site survey and acceptance of final plans.

  • Final Balance: Due 7 working days before delivery (Supply & Fit orders) or 3 days before delivery (Supply Only orders).

  • Late Payment: Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in a failed delivery, incurring an aborted delivery fee. Additionally, delays in payment could lead to a rescheduling of your installation, causing potential delays to your project timeline.

Payments preferred via bank transfer. Debit/credit card accepted (except AMEX)

2.2 Installation Payments Installation costs are payable directly to the installers. Payments must be made in two stages: 50% of the installation cost is payable on the the day of templating. The remaining 50% is payable upon practical completion of the installation.

Failure to make timely payments may result in installation delays or suspension of work.

3 Delivery & Installation

3.1 Delivery We aim to deliver on the agreed date, but any changes will be communicated as soon as possible. Delivery includes placement on the ground floor in a designated space, but does not include carrying items into the installation area unless otherwise agreed. You must ensure products are stored in a dry, safe space until installation. Any damages or shortages must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

3.2 Installation Our kitchens are installed by trusted, qualified subcontractors who carry their own insurance. If unforeseen issues arise (e.g., uneven walls, outdated electrical wiring), additional works may be required at extra cost. We do not cover painting, decorating, or tiling unless specifically agreed. If building works delay installation, we reserve the right to postpone the fit until the site is ready. Installers will do their best to minimise disruption, but temporary loss of water, electricity, or gas may occur.

4 Product & Quality Assurance

4.1 Natural Materials & Variations Solid wood, quartz and natural stone materials will have natural variations in colour and grain, which are part of their beauty. It is strongly advised that properties are dry and well-ventilated before fitting natural wood elements.

4.2 Worktops & Appliances Granite and laminate worktops may vary from showroom samples. You must check and approve materials before installation. Appliances are covered under their manufacturer warranties, and we will assist you in contacting the relevant supplier for any claims.

5 Guarantees & Liability

5.1 Guarantee on Kitchen Components Kitchen furniture is guaranteed for 5 years against manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced, but no additional compensation is provided.

5.2 Customer Responsibilities You are responsible for checking all details before final approval. For Supply Only orders, you must report any damages or missing items within 5 working days. You must take reasonable precautions to protect your home and personal items during delivery and installation.

5 Agreement

By paying the deposit, you confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.
